I'm loving the variety of songs I get to sing and play -
not only on guitar and bass in these bands but also at jams
and playing at home on the piano, banjo, dulcimer, and
recorder. I hope you'll get to hear some of them at our
various venues. Select a band from the list below to view
upcoming events.
I also have been giving piano and guitar lessons since 1979.
If you would be interested in taking lesson please email me at

Lesson can be accommodated to match your needs and interests.

Good Measure:
Frances Moyer, bass, Sue Straney on fiddle, Tommy Wells
playing rhythm guitar, Larry Montgomery on drums, and
Bill Humm playing lead guitar make up the band Good
Measure. We sing an upbeat mix of music that will have
you tapping your feet and singing along. Frances and Sue
are good friends who have been playing and singing together
since 1998. Larry and Tommy joined us a few years ago
and Bill became the newest full time member last year
making the band complete. Together we have a song list
that covers the range of oldies including pop, country,
and bluegrass. Check outGoodMeasure on Facebook.

Havin' Fun is a group made up of friends
Frances Moyer, Sue Straney and Debbie Annen. Frances and Sue have been
playing and singing together since 1998, and Havin' Fun began when Debbie
joined us in 2006. (This picture was taken at that time.) We play whatever
strikes our fancy - country, folk, old rock & roll, standards, gospel -
and we have built a song list as diverse as we are. With guitar, fiddle,
ukulele or bass, and sweet three part
harmony, whenever we get together we are always Havin' Fun. Please follow
Havin' Fun on Facebook.

Goody O'Measure is my newest group and I
will have a lot more to say about it at a future time.

SupremeTemptation is a nine-piece
Motown band formed by bass player Gary Perasta in 2014. Having performed
at 49 West three times and being the featured performer at several open
mics and senior centers, this group is taking off. We hope you'll be able
to come to one of the centers, festivals, or other performance venue and "take a listen".
